Done...

hello dear and faithful fans, plainly obvious that I haven't posted since the beginning of last month and I must admit the post were programed in advance. As the title clearly express I am done with the blog; not only it has become too much of a task, but I just don't have the enthusiasm I had for it before. Not only that, currently dealing with some personal matters which have put some strain emotionally and the last thing on my mind is to write, I'm forcing myself as it is right now. So, for the last time farewell and stay connected via Instagram,  the only platform where I will be active for now since FB is an echo of my IG.

And a heart felt Thank You!

Spooky lot of costumes...

Hello friends!
This year am doing a 10 spooky costumes post. Unfortunately didn't have the time to dig into the creepy vintage costumes, but found some cool and creepy one on Pinterest and here are the ones chosen.
10.  I'm calling it... La diabla (The she-devil). Isn't the make up work on this fantastic, very goth, very creepy.

9. The Crazy. This one is fabulous, I would love to do something like this using my Victorian dress.

8. The Witch. This one it's very spooky, specially if you see it at night from afar, I like 👍

7. Bloody Coraline. Fun and bloody twist of my favorite Coraline Jones.

6. The Weirdo. This one is simple and high on the crepo meter, proofs a simple costume can also be creepy.

5. The Bride. This one is amazing, who doesn't love The Corpse Bride.

4.The Doll. a classic horror one, I have such a sweet spot for these type of costumes. love that its black and white.

3. The Psychic. Another fabulous make-up work.

2. Sabrina. Ok I know it's not scary, spooky or creepy. But it's Sabrina Spellman,  just because I love it. I would rather be a weird sister, but that's just me, lol.

1. The Nurse. This one is fabulous. a bit too slutty for my taste, but just an awesome one.

Ok now, do share which of the ten would you go as. Can't believe the month is done and another Halloween has gone bye, hope you all have enjoyed the season inspired post like I have. Have a spooky one.

Folk Halloween...

Hello friendly ghouls!

On today's post I wanted to share some of the folk Halloween art I've found on Etsy which I've been drooling a bit on, lol. My prim and folk art appreciation has been deepening and I have been browsing and found some great pieces on Etsy; here they are and hope you enjoy.

This pretty display came across my IG feed and loved the top print, I'm such a sucker for the Americana style houses during fall season. These are printable and very affordable, got mines for next year's Halloween theme. YES! already thinking up next year 🎃🎃🎃

OK, this one I need to do, it's absolutely adorable even thou I must admit I am a bit intimidated by large cross stitch project, but this one is a must do for next year.

These are just too cute and gave me an idea to do a large row of prim pumpkins, like 7 should definitely make a statement and look fabulous in my opinion.

This one was another IG appearance and I fell head over heels for it. Got two inches from this fabulous artist and can't wait to see what she does for winter, do check her out.

This adorable piece is another on the to do list, it's a punch embroidery mounted on a wooden plaque,  just gorgeous!

Well, hope you enjoyed these and the shops/ artists. Do share your favorites and opinions.

Spooktacular Fashion...

 Hi friends!

Today in celebration of the Halloween season, I decided to do a post on spooky fashion, these are just a few favorites, so hope you enjoy.

This whole outfit is amazing,  the candy corn skirt is to drool for.

What witch outfit is complete without a hat? I discovered these this year after seeing Miranda from Spooky Little Halloween and Laura Lee of Halloween Hill Studio had a field trip to a pumpkin patch, so fun and a must buy item.

This shirt is just amazing n so classic,  never got to it on time 😭

Now this fabulous seller is a favorite if mine and am a regular shopper. When I saw this gem I knew I had to get it and eek!!! I was able to snatch this pretty 🎃 Lindsay never fails to surprise and always has new goodies, so give her a follow if you don't.

This outfit is adorable and just so tasteful,  perfect for party hosting.

Ok are words really needed?? these are just too adorable and another on my need to get.

These last two are from this same shop and are just gorgeous!!

Like I said, a few, but aren't these fabulous? Do share which is your favorite and of course keep posted on the personal IG for me posing with my jack o lantern dress as we get closer to Halloween 😉

Rhode Montijo fantasmical Halloween box exchange...

 Hello friends!

Today I wanted to share what I received this year for the fantasmical Halloween box exchange hosted by Rhode Montijo. This event is one of the best things of my Halloween season, is just too fun.

Got this adorable card...

Ok this is just too fabulous, a pumpkin wax seal and I want one, so if any of you dear readers know where to get it from, do give me the heads up.

Got a nice quality tinsel garland...

and the goodies....
Got scarf, treat bag, socks, note pad, funny ghost and the tea light holder.

Just too fun!!!
I of course forgot to take photos of what I sent aside from the handmade pieces shared on the last post; but from what I can remember I sent a day of the dead scarf and wooden wall hang, socks, a tinsel pumpkin, coaster set, and a card. If I send anything else, I can't remember, but glad to report my recipient was happy with her gifts.
Anyway, like I always say, if you are in the states and love Halloween, participate, you will have a blast.
'Till next one...

Last minute spooks...

Hello, hello!

Wanted to share here some last minute spooks made for the shop...

If you haven't seen her at the shop, well here is the grumpy witch of the year. Made using vintage new stock- the witch head was a find from last year, actually there were 4, kept 2 for next year.

This fun hang has cotton fabric, cheese cloth, rusty bells and crinkled ribbon. The added tag is just extra embellishment. But just look at the fabulous face...

Made an extra one for a gift for my recipient for this year's halloween box exchange

This is the second make for my gift exchange, Mr. Bones

Isnt he great? Well, I'm glad to report my gift recipient loved the pieces. On the next post I will share what I got. But do share your thoughts on the pieces.
'Till next one.
