as a child i remember seeing this silly character, gumpy
for which i really didn't care much. now besides finding him adorable it's like a vintage memory. so one day while playing with my fabrics and wanting to do some simple dolls for children, the little light bulb shone nice and bright and i thought let's do some gumpy babies!!
so i picked some soft flannel fabric, a favorite for baby softies and these little cuties came to life
i wanted their faces to be full of character

these the dramatics, haha...
