Let Them Eat Cake

Now who hasn't heard the famous phrase "Let Them Eat Cake"??? Even thou it was not said by her everyone associates this to the popular Marie Antoinette. Yeah, thanks to the great Wilkipedia I found out this phrase is  the traditional translation of the French phrase "Qu'ils mangent de la brioche" and  there is no record of these words ever having been uttered by her, they appear in Jean-Jacques Rousseau's Confessions.

However, now that the history lesson is over let me present to you my latest creation inspired and named after this favorite and popular phrase.

Let Them Eat Cake

I love how her face came out like a figurine.

The grand beehive hair-do quite fun and troublesome to do. I used wavy yarn which worked great but when close to the glue watch out. :)

The wire pannier hoop skirt was what took me the longest to do. Yes I did all the twist to make it sturdy. Yey fun!!

I am truly happy with the final results. She came out better than expected. Now what do you think ???
