yarn mandalas...

hi friends!!

today I wanted to share my class creations. If you all remember I shared I was taking an online yarn mandala class with Pablo Franco from Mandalas Uritorco 
and I must say it has been so fun!! so here are the few I've made so far...

1st was a practice freebie by the teacher, to practice an embroidery stitch he uses frequently which he calls "feston" or how I know it: a banquet stitch

This one is from the first class called "inner child"

2nd "trust" mandala

3rd "self love" mandalas 

The teacher does a meditation at the beginning of each class to get us thinking of the theme and is how we pick the colors. I must say I have been surprised at the combinations and how they come out.
