Radio Silence...update

Hi friends!
Just wanted to do an update post since I've been a bit on radio silence. Nothing bad, just plenty of busy on all fronts.
First, the day job has been mega busy with the new changes happening in my medical office, just last week we started with a new MD and after 13+ years working with the one and only doctor, it was interesting to say the least. We are also transitioning from paper to e-records and the data entry has been fierce. But all part of the process, plus I'm learning lots of new stuff, which I always consider a plus.
Secondly, the house reno continues, we have now transitioned to the lower floor; paneled with shiplap the whole sealing, this weekend was wood filling and painting and it looks amazing. I'll do a separate post on it soon.
Thirdly, I have been working on two pieces for the upcoming show and dusted some of the old school styles/ techniques I haven't used a bit and did some new stuff. Yes teasing it a bit, but I just love how they came out, just finished them this weekend and are heading to the gallery.
On a personal note, I have not been posting a lot and am just trying to stay away a bit more from social media. It's fun and all but, I want to live in the here and now and not be diverted with it. I'm not an all the time online person, you all know that, but the less I'm there the better. What's amazing is that when I get on I get bored faster, so even better. Anyone else trying or currently doing this?? Share your thought on the subject.
Well, a reno update soon to come and the show's opening date is quickly approaching so soon enough you'll see what has been on the works. Have a wonderful day y'all!
