Hello friends!
One thing I had been missing was going nursery hopping down at Homestead, FL. I usually go 2-4 times a year but with the renovation and then the close-ups, it had been quite over a year that I had made the trip; since this past weekend was a wonderful long one, my Saturday was free and the weather was fabulous. Must say there were a lot that closed down, but there were also many new spaces, specially food truck areas. Well, my first stop was the famous Isaac Farms, I always drool when I'm there, it's cactus, succulent and air plant galore, my back garden style of course.
there were so many golden barrel cactus, I wanted them all...
and at the entrance they had these huge wind chimes, just made you feel like at a temple.
here are some random nursery photos...
last stop was at Santa Barbara Nursery where I got this beauty below... a Jasmine Tree!!!
So, once I got home I was ready to get my gardening on and here is what came home and what was done...
Got a swiss cheese vine monstera, still needs re-potting, but how cute!
you can imagine got me some succulents....
a sweetheart hoya...
decorated my cactus with some succulents...
here is the beautiful Jasmine, yes needs a pretty pot
planted these pretties on these little hanging vine pots
these will have to wait until next weekend...
here is my "cottage garden" or front garden getting pretty. Still have not put the planter boxes in since we are still getting estimates on getting new floor tile and the planters will be fixed to the shutter door wall to the right not seen on this photo, but so far, just loving it.
