Bee Hive diy...

Hello der friends!
Wanted to share a fun and easy DIY to celebrate that Spring is officially here.
You will need:
Oval bottom stile container- I got this red planter at the dollar store
Thick rope- mines is from Hobby Lobby
Black acrylic paint
and lots of glue for the glue gun 😀
now, lets begin...

I started on the bottom working myself up, it can be done either way. To me it was easier to make sure the rope was very close together; and do take your time to mke sure it's all snug and no excess glue leaks out.

Below you can see how I glue close to the bottom one and hold snug...

half way through... now reached the oval part.

so I cut a piece of the rope and glued the ends to make the circle for the front of the hive, sorry forgot to take photos of this. Anyway, once you have the circle measure where you want it and the opening of the circle mark it and paint it black.

I didn't like the plain rope, so I wrapped the rope last minute with natural twine...

and now just glue and.........

you have a little bee hive, I absolutely adore this quick and fun DIY and will share a foto once I actually stage it since it will go for my table center piece but just after Easter since right now I have cute moss bunnies. Anyway, if you try it out do share your photos.
Till next one friends!
