Fresh laundry...

Hello friends!
On new years weekend I shared on my personal Instagram a short summary of the laundry project. The hubby was on holiday break and began the project last weekend by raising the ceiling 10 inches, taking it up to the beams. Then added sheet rock, plaster and finishing with shiplap as can be seen below.

We exposed the water pipes and I painted them with the same beautiful green I used for the Nativity sign. Omg, and no comment on the colored block wall, I mean really, what the hell was I thinking, lol.

I decided to do a 3 color way, that is why the mid wall tape. Also, added a pretty frame to the window.

did the top white...

bottom a cream/ beige, it's called creamy mushroom from Behr...

love it!!! I mean, look at that green pop!

The track you see on top is for shelving, we put them up but need to get 3 more. Also, the old front door will be put up here once I paint it with the gorgeous mushroom color. Eventually the window will be replaced with a high impact, so a project update will be shared on a later date, but for now, the laundry looks so fresh and so clean, 😄 haha!
Please do share your thoughts.
