home for the holidays...

i almost missed this post... as you all know every year, i like to show my holiday home decorations. well, this year i wanted to change up a few things and make some goodies for the home, of course with the usual goings and the extra shop activity, the holiday crafting slowed, bit late here it is...
first,
made this Christmas tree sign from the wooden table i made with the BF at the beginning of the year (he broke one of the table legs after a show, haha!)  this piece took forever due to the rainy weather and busy schedule, but worth the wait...

table...

new nook: the rusty cans from a dairy farm from up north picked at Renninger's antique show. i spray painted them, they read: fresh pines, mistletoe $5. the tree is a real pine the garland was made from natural twine and some wooden snowflakes i glued, has random rusty bells and lights.
had to add a cute Uncle Drosselmeyer nutcracker.

got these adorable little gnomes..

i'm in love with my gray tree... bucket also picked at Renninger's

this year's Santa ornie, too cute!!

and a new favorite from my friend Sheila of Raven's Thyme

got lazy pup Scrapy on his favorite chair

while looking for a book i was gifting, saw that Barnes and Nobles did a special cover thingy on many books and found this cute pocket size of one of my holiday favorites,
yes, i love Dickens!!!

my curio corner....

ooh, ikea how i love you... couldn't resist...

and my favorite acquisition this year, this adorable snowman from raven thyme also. absolutely LOVE it!!!!

changed the color/ theme from country Christmas to modern rustic with gray/black/ red and love it!!
what are your thoughts??
