Believe it or not, the work at home continues, just in slug mode. One thing we've been fighting for with our HOA for the past year has been to get a new fence.
We moved all the plants to the center of the area. The fence looks ok from this angle but...
the left side is rotten and was standing by mere bricks on the opposite side
and it begins...
of course the moment outdoor work begins, we start getting thunderstorms in the area, so a 2 day turned to one week and the people that put the fence did a sloppy job 😡
the fence had huge gaps, of course I was not going to have it, so the hubby and I got some extra fence boards and fixed it ourselves
There was a snafu with the ordered paint; didn't arrived at the store, had to get reordered and it all took over 3 weeks, then had to wait again due to the recent tropical storm Eta. But this past Sunday we had a good day and finally to work.
We used a asphalt fence paint in black and it was super thick.
But the finished result are amazing, just look at the black beauty.
Next will be the floor, can't wait to show you the end result, but no hints today, haha! Hopefully, the weather will be dry for Thanksgiving weekend, that's when we are planning to work on it since we will be taking a small break tomorrow 😉 will share the details on the next blog post.
