Today I wanted to share a simple DIY for my Halloween home collection. Last year I bought this beautiful moon made by Our Found Home
Gorgeous right? They have beautiful signs and great customer service and if your not crafty I highly recommend them. But as you can see the Happy Halloween sign next to it that nice big sized one is $125 and honestly for my budget is a bit much, so I went the typical crafter way...DIY 🎃
so, I found on Etsy VisualPixie and for $8.54 I got the Happy Halloween page graphic just like the one above. Then went to OfficeMax did poster printing order, had to go with 18x24 due to the space where it will go; i paid extra and had it printed on canvas which was $26, if it was on paper it would have been $14 only. Anyway, you all know I have been on a home renovation for the past year and I have a ton of scrap wood, so...
measure, cut, nailed...
and painted with flat black spray
I then fitted the canvas and used spray fabric glue and here it is.
So, considering the downsize a $75 + tax and shipping sign cost me $34 and approximately 1 hour of my time; a total win and not only that, I made 2 😃
didn't do the edge, but will added so it looks more finished.
