Labor day weekend...

 hello dear friends!

hope you all had a wonderful labor day weekend and that some had at least a day off to rest. Of course add to that the variable of where you are in the world and the restrictions you have to deal with. Here in South Florida where I live, masks 😷 continue to be mandatory which means I stayed at home because there is no way for me to be out and about with 90+ degree weather and the mask. I won't get into my mask rant here either....  Anyway, I spent my weekend working around the house and believe it or not I had to redo the floor of the first bathroom. Very disappointed with the wallpops vinyl floor...

When I first layed it down, I was in love with it, but after not even a year it looked like it was over 10+ years.  I mean it got stained in the high traffic areas and sorry I can't spot clean on a routine basis so... bye, bye floor. Had to get another vinyl as to not have to rip all the molding and here is some of my weekend photos.

Also, to share more exciting news I get new  furniture next weekend and.... look what finally arrived after 2 months waiting...

Yep, my new front door, yay!!!! Only bummer is it will have to stay there for the next 2 weeks because knowing how things go, this install will probably take a weekend, so I'll keep you posted.
