hi friends!
Things have been very slow moving with the renovation, but after a year it's tiring spending every weekend working in the house and the husband has been slacking, more than me, lol.
This past weekend we only worked Saturday and it was all about finishing the stairs. After 2 weekends prepping the boards: we measured cut- sanded- painted/ stained- finished and here are some in progress photos...
had to do the staining indoors thanks to the sporadic rainy south florida weather for the past few weekends.

before assembly, we decided to remove the sheetrock on the side and will be doing an accent wall which will be next weekends project.

he saw the number thingy and wanted it, I don't mind it, but personally I would have chosen smaller ones, but he wanted the large one, ooh well.
We just got to finish the bottom moldings, but we absolutely love how they turned out. We chose pine so it can age with usage and get a vintage patina which we love.
