bit of learning...

hi dear friends!
For those that celebrated, hope you had a good Memorial day celebration and honoring our brave ones. I took advantage of the long weekend and put the backsplash on my kitchen and if you followed on Instagram you got to see how wonderfully beautiful it came out. If you didn't you'll see it on next reno update.  Today, I wanted to share, this past week I had the pleasure to enjoy an international gathering of mandala artist in multiple mediums and it was amazing!

I did the first 2 drawn exercises and I have to admit I didn't enjoy the drawing mandalas at all. So I enjoyed the speakers instead.

now this past Saturday the speaker was Pablo Franco from Mandalas Uritorco
de Capilla del Monte and he I found by following the hashtag #huichol and he is marvelous. Pablo is super sweet, very conversational and makes the most beautiful eye of gods. Most excitedly I signed up to do a 2 month class with him and I can't wait.

If any of you is interested and speak Spanish, do sign up it will be great. Check his Facebook, for he does many tutorials. I'll share what I learn as I go, so until the next one... happy crafting.
