Hi friends!
It had been a bit, I know I have slacked a bit here, just been slammed at the day job, been tired, fighting a cold and on the reno: the crafty closet is getting a cosmetic update, yay!!
Well, with that said, all my supplies are on my dining room area, literally like the tower of Babel.
No comments. I get anxious everytime I look at the mess. Anyway, while getting all of the mess out I found some paper hexies I got on a clearance and decided to finally give English paper piecing a try.
Here is a photo on how to cute the fabric I found on Pinterest, the glue stick thingy I didn't use, but is supposed to make the process easier.
I had seen this tutorial on YouTube and easy enough
Did a patriotic flower 🤩 and sowed it, no glue. I still have to iron it and remove the paper. Still debating what's going to be the end result but far from making one of the gorgeous quilts you can view online like this one, which I would love to make one day.
So, if you are curious like me on quilting, try the English paper piecing, it's easy and quick.
