holiday recap...

Hi friends and a happy new year!!!! 2020 so exciting!!! Like people say new year, new possibilities; do you have any resolutions? goals?? please do share. For me this years goal / word is simplify., and we'll explore more of that throughout the year. Now I wanted to share a small recap of my fun holiday/ vacation. First off had a wonderful time with my parents and siblings, it sure had been too long. I stayed at the hotel Guajataca and this was my daily view and fyi at night listening to the waves it sure was bliss.

My home town Quebradillas and I had fun mini golf called the Pirate's Lair, FUN!!!

The only official tourist-y excursion I did was go to old San Juan to see the forts, here's walking towards Castillo de San Cristobal

Then we (husband, brother and nephew) walked towards the next fort; here is some of the street art from the protest when the island outed the governor.

Here is Castillo San Felipe del Morro

Here is the walkway to La Fortaleza, famously known as the "paseo sombrilla" (where a bunch of umbrellas hang) but they had just changed it to the flag. Just in case you don't know La Fortaleza is where the governor of the island resides.

OP n Christmas eve we had this super (not keto) dinner and plenty of adult drinks, so no more photos available, lol.

on Christmas day we had the usual gift opening fun

then we went to Jobos Beach and enjoyed more adult drinks, lots of festivities 😉 and this was the view.

I had a lots of fun, but also was super hectic with the comings and goings. I was glad to return home and rest, just for a day and then resumed the reno, which I will go into more detail on the next post.
