reno update...

hello friends!
here is a short update, because it has been a slow moving on this side. From last update paint has happened in the master bedroom,  also painted the accent wall which I'm keeping it secret until the final reveal.

From there we moved back to the bathroom and started on the tile and of course as the first time doing tile we used a matte tile and dark gray grout which are the most difficult to clean and stained the tile, booo!!! Found out after we applied it of course.

did a black penny tile for the shower floor and window and a beautiful patterned for the floor and here is the first look

This took 2 weekends, then last weekend took a much needed break and went to Vintage Market Days which I shared on Instagram and had a blast. This weekend continued the rest of the shower with a much larger tile and it has been frustrating and tedious. We were able to do one wall only, here's the pre- grout photo

the tile is so heavy, that we weren't able to grout, will leave it for Wednesday since I'm working half a day. As can be imagined my Thanksgiving weekend will be finishing the tile installation and whatever more that can be done.
Also started removing the popcorn ceiling from the upstairs hallway and ordered the floors; yes, a ton still to do.
so, what are your Thanksgiving plans?
