Spooky Night

Hello friends!! As all of you well know, I love Halloween and one thing I missed most the past two years was making fun makes for the holiday. This year has been fun creating once more and when I saw the call to artist for this year's Slushbox Gallery Halloween show I just had to make something. The shows title is This is Halloween and my thought went of course to the beloved Nightmare before Christmas, however, since I made three Burton pieces I decided to let the muse just go with the flow and here is..
Spooky Night

Of course had to have witches, bats, spider, jack-o-lanterns, candy corns and a full moon.

Well, as seen is a felt embroidery, 3 dimensional.

All assembled on a wooden plaque painted in classic orange and black, sealed and added black tinsel on the edge. A saw tooth hook on the back ready to hang.

The little witch's funny face is a favorite style of mines and just to make her extra adorable gave her curly felted hair.

There you have it, this piece will be exhibiting at the gallery starting October 19th, if you are local do swing by or keep your eye out when it goes live on their site. For more info click here
