i was approached by a local artist and acquaintance to inquire about making her first grandson a custom gift, non other than a woodland mobile. being a first, we discussed the plans, i did lots of browsing and came to an agreement.
i must say it was quite detailed and came absolutely lovely, even the boys (boyfriend and doggies) applauded the finished result.

the animals were to be "boyish" so most were their usual colors, but too cute still!
and the little extras...
i crocheted the strings for the animals and felt leaves.
the base is wood painted with acrylics
it was a very fun project and most importantly my customer was in love with it. i have decided to list it as a made to order, so it will soon be available at the shop.
