Bite Me!

Bite Me!

What Halloween is without a vampire?? Can't even imagine...There is always the little child and adult that likes to dress up with fangs. I don't know how many times I have dressed-up as one and probably would do it again. Today I will share some of my favorite vampire characters from literature and movies; and the memorable, must mention ones too.
One of my all time favorite characters when I was a kid, of course was Grandpa Munster :)

I mean Al Lewis was great! He was so funny, who didn't like his character??

The creepiest vampire up to this day for me is Nosferatu.

Do I have to say more???NO!

A 100% classic vampire, no other that Bela Lugosi.

A character that I love dearly and hope with all my heart his creator would bring the next chapter about is Lestat de Lioncourt. I fell in love with this character instantly, even wrote a term paper in high school arguing how he's the best vampire character in literature (a personal opinion). I must also point out, Tom Cruise did a great job playing him on the film Interview With A Vampire.

Not Stuart Townsend, who was a joke and insult...Anyway, Anne Rice PLEASE!!! bring him back and finish the series.
Now, moving on.
Last, of course the great Dracula. Yes, I'm talking of the book by Bram Stoker. My favorite representation of this character is no other than Gary Oldman, breath taking..

Well, there you have it friends. Of course there are some other great vampire characters out there like Eric Northman from True Blood, Blade, etc. I can go on for a while, but I would love to know which is your favorite vampire or Dracula character???

Jerry Dandridge from the original Fright Night and the traveling vampire clan in Near Dark are my favorites. Great post for Halloween.

We will never tire of vampires. Wasn't there a soap opera just a few years ago that had a vampire? Great post!
